About SNEM
|
- Mission
Our mission is to reach as many people as possible throughout the world with the message of Jesus Christ.
- Vision
Our vision is to conduct citywide and single-church evangelistic events with the following two goals:
1. To preach the message of Jesus Christ to non-Christians‚ offering them a personal invitation to accept Jesus Christ as their individual Savior and Lord.
2. To call out‚ encourage and challenge Christians to be and do all that God desires us to be and do.
- Core Values
- Proclamation: Preaching the gospel message of Jesus Christ‚ Him crucified and resurrected‚ is our cornerstone message.
- Lost: Reaching non-Christians with the message of Jesus Christ is our primary target audience.
- World: Going literally to as many nations as possible.
- Mass: Saturating the masses with the message of Jesus Christ.
- Individual: Reaching the masses while raising the individual.
- Family: Building and strengthening family foundations on Biblical principles is a must for each family unit. We will offer hope and direction to families.
- Youth: Young people are the future leaders of our society who have the capacity to choose to follow Jesus Christ now. Therefore‚ we will nurture‚ encourage and challenge youth to full dedication to Jesus Christ in every area of their lives.
- Catalyst: To assist the individual within the masses to get headed in the right direction spiritually and emotionally.
- Unity: Bringing unity within the Church under the global mission of world evangelization. Without the Church this ministry will not accomplish anything as it will be through His Church-the Body of Christ-that God will touch‚ save and change lives.
- Involvement: The involvement of as many individual Christians as possible is a key component from the human side of an evangelistic event and will play a primary role in the depth of impact that occurs. It will be up to the Pastor and church leaders to determine the extent of their church's involvement in the pre and post event work.
- Prayer: Individual and corporate prayer is the power which guides the evangelistic event and draws people to attend the event and receive Jesus Christ.
- Preparation: Hard work‚ sacrifice and discipline builds and keeps the momentum as the local churches and SNEM work together in preparing and aiming for specific goals in the evangelistic event process.
- Follow-up: The contacting‚ encouraging and nurturing of those who make a variety of important decisions at the event will primarily be the responsibility of the local church. Some decisions will need special attention‚ which will be met by special follow-up methods.
- Relationships: Initiating and building trusting relationships and friendships with non-Christians and un-churched people is the most effective way of personal evangelism and discipleship. Therefore‚ in preparation for our evangelistic events‚ we will assist in equipping Christians on relational‚ lifestyle personal evangelism.
- Reproduction: Spiritual reproduction-developing followers of Jesus Christ-is the only way to fulfill the great commission on a global scale.
- Wounded: Many people have been wounded emotionally and spiritually as a result of broken homes. Emotional and spiritual wholeness must be sought in order for an individual to live a balanced‚ productive and abundant life within the Kingdom of God. Therefore‚ we will offer hope‚ encouragement and practical next steps to those who are wounded.
