Areawide Events are an effective method of reaching non-Christians with the Gospel of Jesus Christ‚ as well as bringing the Body of Christ together interdenominationally‚ which stirs renewal and revival. This generation is much more relational than before. Therefore‚ gearing an areawide event to reach and saturate an area with the Gospel of Jesus Christ takes some creative methods that focuses on Christians building and maintaining relationships with non-Christians and unchurched people.
SNEM desires to work with local churches in any
size community to hold creative, contemporary areawide events. We suggest
calling areawide events a "Jubilee", "Festival" or "Celebration." SNEM works
alongside local churches throughout a community over a period of months,
preparing the churches in the pre and post event process. Event Directors
are sent in advance to mobilize churches and communities for their areawide
event. Event Directors working alongside SNEM have been trained through the
assistance of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA), using the
same methods and materials used by BGEA in their events.
