Accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord is the greatest decision a human being can ever make! Yet‚ accepting Him is just the beginning. Spiritual and personal growth‚ called discipleship‚ should be the natural progression for every new Christian immediately after accepting Christ. Please don't do what I did. After I received Jesus Christ as Savior I didn't know what to do and didn't begin growing spiritually for two years. My life didn't begin developing until I began a daily time of prayer and Bible study as well as meeting with other Christians in church and in small groups. I regret that I did not begin spiritual growth right after becoming a Christian‚ that there was no one there to show me what to do next.
