Help us transform more lives!

I am going to put all my cards on the table and share vulnerably from my heart. Our ministry is experiencing  unprecedented invitations to do ministry all over the world, even in closed countries. God willing, here is where I will  be going over the next year to reach and train people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ: Honduras (November), Argentina (December), Philippines & India (February), Bangladesh (April), Pakistan (May), Fiji (July). I am so grateful for these opportunities, YET…my heart is troubled because all of these projects must be downsized due to limited funding; meaning, we will reach and train less people than we could if sufficient funding were available.

I come to you today saying from my heart to those of you who give to our ministry, THANK YOU!! so much for your help! Last year our ministry received $104,000 in donations, the most funding we have ever received, and we saw 5,435 people commit to Jesus Christ and trained 1,426 church leaders! I tell you our income because some Christians assume many, if not all, international evangelists have millions of dollars donated each year, and this is not true. You are probably aware of how much money is donated to the ministries you give to, but if you are not, here are a few sites where you can go to find out because all tax-exempt nonprofit organizations have to file an annual 990 income statement with the IRS that is public domain: www.guidestar.org (we are Gold Level with GuideStar, their highest level of financial transparency and accountability), and www.charitynavigator.org ($500,000 is the required minimum annual income in order to be posted in Charity Navigator).

To continue being transparent, it seems a number of Christians assume all evangelists have “generous” salaries. Since God called me to be an evangelist in 1990, my average annual income for the past 24 years (including some part-time jobs) has been $14,464. Last year I was paid $32,000, so I am now taken care of with a sufficient salary, recently attained health sharing coverage, and God willing, we will start a retirement fund for me soon. YET…it is difficult saying NO to so many ministry opportunities, and difficult again having to scale back the opportunities I do accept.

As I said before, last year our ministry income was $104,000 and I am determined—God willing—to get that amount up to a minimum of $250,000 per year. Reaching $250,000 will allow us to accept more projects each year and the projects we do accept won’t have to be downsized, but instead can reach and train more people in both QUANTITY and QUALITY…and you can help us accomplish this! Then we will be able to share more stories of transformed lives, such as “Prasanna,” (photo on the left) the young woman in India who publicly turned to Jesus Christ during one of our events and within hours of her conversion she was attacked by religious extremists. Her injuries required surgery to relieve pressure in her brain from the beating. Praise God, she fully recovered and has since acquired a good job in computer technology and she shared her testimony in the very area where she was attacked!

Without using any attempts at manipulation, I am simply laying before you the opportunity to help our ministry reach and train more people…to help us take the next step in financial growth so I don’t have to keep saying NO to opportunities but YES! And, I am asking you to not just give this month only, but rather I am looking for “PARTNERS” who will give consistently because…next year, as I enter my 25th year as an evangelist, God willing, I plan on doing this ministry year-after-year, decade-after-decade, until Jesus comes, or until we pass this ministry over to a younger evangelist in the future, or until my life is over. Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy, for you have been my PARTNERS in spreading the Good News about Christ – Philippians 1:4-5.

My responsibility is to present the opportunities and our needs, and then let God’s Spirit move the hearts of His people to help us. With whatever funding God provides, our ministry will go out with confidence and joy proclaiming the Gospel to the world! Whether it be “upgraded” projects or “downsized,” we are GOING out to reach as many people as we can!

Honestly His…and yours, for the Gospel,

Scott Nute

Going into ALL the World!

zcreencapture 2014-07-02 at | Jul 02 | 3.36.36 PM

MYSTERIOUS!  That is how it is at times serving God, especially in frontline global evangelism because this type of ministry is a magnet for the evil forces of satanic opposition. Yet, over all circumstances, almighty God is mysteriously—Sovereignly—in utter control! Recent case in point, for many months we had been planning a major project in Southeast India for this November 2014, a region-wide Crusade and Leadership Development Conference that had the potential of reaching and training more people in one project than we had ever done before. But, our dear friend and brother Kumar, our Indian coordinator who has done a superb job preparing several projects for us the past few years, recently became severely ill with prostate cancer. After surgery, he is now in post-surgery recovery and rest, and praise God he is feeling better! God willing, we hope to reschedule this project in the future.

zcreencapture 2014-07-02 at | Jul 02 | 3.41.11 PMOver the next 18-24 months we are planning or investigating projects (pending unforeseen international “circumstances”) in Argentina (1st trip), Bangladesh (1st), Brazil (4th), Dominican Republic (1st), Honduras (2nd), India (6th), Kenya (6th), Mexico (3rd), Nepal (1st), Pakistan (1st), Peru (1st), Philippines (7th), Russia (1st), Rwanda (3rd), Ukraine (1st), Uruguay (1st), and Venezuela (1st). We will be conducting a variety of events – from the large outdoor Crusades that reach thousands of people, to small indoor Single Church Crusades that will reach dozens. Plus, we will conduct Leadership Development Conferences and School Programs. Please, join me in praying for God to guide us to where He wants us to go.

The local churches we partner with  are one of the most significant aspects of the overseas ministry we do. Our organization is not a “save ‘um and leave ‘um” type of ministry. Rather, the end goal of our evangelistic events is placing new Believers into the local churches we work with where the pastors and church leaders are ready to receive new Christian “babies!” We help prepare the church congregations in advance to welcome and begin immediate nurturing of new Christians, as well as for Christians who do not have a church and begin attending their particular church. My goal as an evangelist is to do what I can to help established churches in third-world countries to grow both in length (new Christians) and depth (Christian maturity and ministry service). So if our ministry, through our international evangelistic events, can help a third-world church with 50 people grow to 55 people, or a church with 100 grow to 110, or a church with 500 grow to 550, then we have done our “job.”

I will be traveling to Honduras July 31-August 4 to conduct the “Mobilization Training” for our upcoming Area-wide Crusade and Leadership Development Conference. Your prayers would be appreciated! The support we get from people like you is greatly helping us to GO into, and to GROW, God’s Kingdom worldwide!

Because HE said…“GO”…I am sincerely yours,

Scott Nute

Reports from Africa and Asia

pic01

It is such a blessing and encouragement when we receive reports from people telling of how God, if even in a small way, has touched their lives through this ministry. Thank you for your support that enables such reports to happen!

This past February, we shipped 30,000 Salvation booklets in four languages to South Sudan, Kenya, and Uganda, to help reach people in refugee camps (see photo on left). These refugee camps consist mainly of South Sudanese who fled the ongoing war in South Sudan that has now claimed the lives of over 10,000 people and seen over 1,000,000 people displaced from their homes. Other ministries helped plant four new churches in these two camps and our ministry provided the evangelism materials that are currently assisting in their outreaches and church growth. 201 people have come to know Christ so far and your support helped provide the materials to reach these African refugees! We are grateful for your help!

In April, we received an email from a young Christian man in the Philippines. He shared how he found our website and that he has been using the Bible Study & Discipleship link, which is helping him grow in his personal walk with Jesus Christ! What a joy it is to know how the Lord is using our website to help “make disciples of all nations!” Getting reports like these of how God uses technology is an affirmation of my vision that God willing, and as He provides, we can develop our website into one that will be translated into some of the world’s primary languages, such as Spanish, Arabic, and Mandarin. (On the right is a young lady in mainland China who spoke only Mandarin, and she accepted Jesus through our team translator in 2009).

pic02Please join me in prayer for the Lord to guide us in developing our future website and resource ministries. And, would you also pray for the continued preparations for the most extensive Evangelistic & Leadership Training Project we have ever done that will take place this November in India. My heart is privately praying and hoping God’s spirit will do something that will not only impact that particular region of India, but the entire country…maybe even shake the entire world with the message of The Cross!

Sincerely,

Scott Nute

Locked Inside Myself

newsletterRecently, I was preparing to go out of my apartment to run errands but as I tried to open the front door, it would  not open. I tried over and over again to unlock and lock both of the locks while also turning the door knob. After several attempts it hit me…I am locked inside my own home! After calling our complex office they sent someone to help. To no avail, he could not open the door from the outside either, so he had to use various tools to basically break off the old doorknob, which had mysteriously stopped working. Finally, the door was opened and I was set free from my own home…in a sense, I was set free from myself!

Please, take a close look at the woman in the photo that was taken recently and put on the internet. This woman is from India and she is dressed as the Hindu goddess Kali as she participates in a festival dedicated to the worship of Hindu god Shiva. That could easily be my face in that photo, or yours, or your children, or our family and friends…we could all have been, and may currently be, an inch away from being “locked inside” of ourselves forever! Our personal sinful nature manifests itself in innumerable, colorful, subtle, and dangerous ways. Whether it be Hinduism or Islam, Catholic or Baptist or Pentecostal, or our daily routine and “control,” or being overly focused on beauty or money or children or the lack of such things, or busy-ness and materialism, or unresolved emotional issues, or drugs and alcohol, or an armor of pride that “shines” as a cover-up over insecurity and weakness, or lukewarm “cozy” Christianity where “me” and “mine” are the primary focus of my “Christian” life…ETC, ETC. We are ALL locked inside ourselves in some degree in some way! How are we locked inside ourselves today?

When was the last time you did something that was legitimately beyond your human logic, beyond your daily schedule…the last time you honestly did something—or anything—outside of “yourself” and “yours” that genuinely helped another person be set free from themselves? Are you a free person, or are you locked inside yourself as a non-Christian in need of a Savior who will forgive you and set you free into eternal life? Are you a free Christian, or are you an overly “logical” Christian locked inside yourself—your cozy Jesus bubble—who is in need of a Lord who will forgive you and set you free into deeper abundant life via ministry service in His Great Commission! Jesus Christ said, “If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed” (John 8:36).

In November, our Crusade in India will proclaim freedom found in Jesus Christ to thousands of Indians just like the woman in the photo. Please, join us in prayer for their lives to be set free, radically transformed, and made new through salvation in Christ, and to then begin spiritual growth in the churches we are working with. To those of you who help this ministry reach lives with the Gospel, we applaud and appreciate you! Thank you for your help!

For freedom,

Scott Nute

The Gospel is growing worldwide

One of my favorite Bible verses says in Colossians 1:6, “…the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world—just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it…”

pic222Our ministry enjoys being able to help people, either through overseas evangelistic and training events or providing resources that help the Gospel to continue bearing fruit throughout the whole world. We just shipped 30,000 Salvation Tracts to Africa to help reach people during the current civil/tribal war in South Sudan. These materials will help South Sudanese refugees scattered throughout Kenya and Uganda, and the displaced people in South Sudan. The tracts are written in 4 languages: Arabic, Runyankole, Lugandan, and English, and will be used in the new churches and other ministries. Church leaders will use these tracts in at least two ways: 1) to offer the hope of Jesus Christ to people who don’t yet know Him personally, and 2) to help train Christians in how to share the Gospel in their everyday personal lives.

Our website, which was built and is maintained as a pro-bono gift by a dear Christian brother, is another way we try to help people. It is being used by God to offer hope, encouragement, and practical guidance to people in a variety of ways. A while back our office received an email from a young woman who had done an internet search on sexual abuse and our website was one of hundreds that were displayed, and she just “happened” to select our website to read. This woman shared how the “Wounded Hearts” section on our site helped her move forward in her struggle with the sexual abuse she experienced as a little girl. It inspired her to know that she is not the only one to have experienced childhood abuse and that she is not alone—Jesus is with her!

pic111Visit our website to read my current article, “Satan’s Baby Boy—the Antichrist! ” You can also find a detailed report of our upcoming project in India and how you can help. Free materials on how to share your faith and how to use tracts in a strategic lifestyle manner can be downloaded from our site. Plus, you can find hope and direction through depression, divorce, homosexuality, addictions and other life issues many of us struggle with, and you can share these links with people you know who are going through similar challenges. Our website offers convenient online giving, and we have numerous videos you can watch from our international Crusades & Leadership Development Conferences.

Thank you for joining us in our ministry of helping people…in bearing fruit for the Gospel around the world!

Sincerely,

Scott Nute
